[Question] Shared Access to Tax practitioner

    Hi Everyone

I have received a request from auditors to give them Shared access on my VAT (efiling). I am unsure of how to actually do this. Can someone please help me with this. When I view the request and want to authorise then it says that "am I sure I want to transfer" I only want to give them shared access as I still do the submission of the VAT.

    thanks for your help

    Regards
    Stephanie

    Stephanie,

Are you sure they requested Shared Access?

Yes, they wanted to view and print my submitted VAT forms.

If shared access was requested, that means you will still have access to your VAT returns.

          Hi Stephanie

I know you can share access to personal income tax returns and provisional returns, but I'm unsure about business tax returns and other taxes (VAT). If you feel you don't want to provide them with your login details, why not ask them what returns and statements of account they need and print it for them or let them access it from your pc after you logged on.
