[Question] difference owing to much to leave it ?

howdy folks ,

was wondering if r 42.00 bucks would be to high to leave after spending hours and hours inputting data into easy file for the 201208 bi annual ? i remember on my journey through many pages on the sars web site that i read somewhere that differences under a r 100.00 bucks would neither be frowned upon or refunded either way , i stand corrected though on that one ? bottom line is im sure nobody likes a untidy declaration with any amount's outstanding but to have to go through all the raw data again just to find r 42.00 buckaroo's ?!!! i already been through it thrice again and im not sure im gonna make it through check number four without my sanity intact

last thing i need now is more " please explain " from sars !

You're spot on.

The difference will come up in your EMPSA and sit there until resolved.

Always good to identify what caused the problem though. In my experience, normally it's a mispost on UIF or SDL when it comes to that sort of value - and it isn't going to go away come end of year. If you're paying monthly, take a close look at anyone earning R2100 or R4200 a month.

yeah was thinking along those lines myself and after leaving it for a day and looking through the workings with fresh eye's again i managed to find the problem , forgot to make allowance for the one and only deduction made to a pension fund for somebody
