Searching the CIPC website De-registration of companies

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to check the CIPC website to see if a company has been de-registered. If so, please advise how I go about doing it.

Just look up the company the same as you would normally. That's worked for me in the past (I was trying to help an associate who had allowed a company's registration to lapse).

Thanks Dave- I did do that and it didn't give any information, so I am assuming the company hasn't been de-registered. Thanks again.

That depends on what you mean by "didn't give any information."

The real clue is if you start as if you're going to file the company's annual return.
