    Locked out of uFiling

    Hi everyone,

    My name is Tania and I'm new here.

    I am hoping someone can help me or point me in the right direction.

    I tried to register for uFiling at the end of April and was locked out straight away. I have tried the password and username route but it just tells me that my account is locked and I must call the call center. I have phoned multiple numbers a million times over the last few months and either get no answer or get told that if it's not COVID related then they can't assist. I have also emailed close to 20 different email addresses and not a single person has replied to me in months.

    So if anyone has experienced a similar issue and found a way out - please let me know. I have also emailed all the forms so they can submit my UIF application but I have a feeling nobody is going to do it because of the locked registration issue. I also fear that if I go to the offices then I'll be standing in a queue for hours only to be told the same thing.

    At the moment it seems the only thing you can do is document your efforts.

    There is a chance things will improve as the TERS program for 27th March to the end of June winds up. This is sure to free up resources for "normal" business.
    Participation is voluntary.

          Sorry to hear that - it is such a frustrating experience. I have asked on local groups, asked family members who work for accounting firms, even went as far as to contact our local ward counselor and haven't had any luck. Once you've emailed I guess all you can do is wait. Good luck and do let me know if you find any answers along the way.

            I received a "error code ufl1006 "....does any body know what does this mean and how can it be fixed.

              Hi Tania

              I was in the same boat. I eventually emailed every single email address on the website of the Department of Labour and this lady replied and forwarded my email to someone - this morning I got a mail that it was. SO HAPPY!!!! Email address (‎margaret.tyelbooi@labour.gov.za)! Hope you come right!

                I had a similar situation only with other sites. They wrote to me that for some reason I was suspicious IP adress
                Maybe you also have a reason.

                  An error occurred during the operation

                  Was there ever an answer / solution to this query? An error occurred during the operation. Please contact the call centre with the following error code UFL1006 for resolution.

                  This has been happening to me over the past year, repeatedly, and I can't declare for my domestic worker. With the old system, there were NEVER any issues, EVER.

                  The block occurs after I go into Declarations and try to access the EMPLOYER section. I have no problems with sign in.

                  Any assistance would be welcome to get past this. Contacting them doesn't resolve the problem.
