    [Question] Annual bonus

    Hi guys.
I work in the electrical industry and need some clearity on my annual bonus.
As far as i understand my annual bonus is suppose to be equel to my leave pay.
15days plus the 4×public holidays during the holiday. Can someone please shed some light on the subject.

Read your employment contract and speak to your HR department (if you have one)

This kind of thing is negotiated between yourself and your employer because it is dependent on company needs and how you and your employer choose to structure your salary. There is no rule that says you should get any form of bonus - a guaranteed structured 13th cheque and a bonus are vastly different things. A bonus is just that - a bonus - which is generally performance or profitability driven. Although paid leave is guaranteed in law - one may still be required to work (and be paid) on those days if necessary.

Labour law / Main agreement states under annual leave and bonuses that my leave bonus will be equel to my leave pay.
Leave pay is 15days in one instant and then they take it regional and say its 16days and then you add the public holidays in your leave period witch was 4days. My question is this : Is my holiday bonus eqeul to 15;16;19 or 20 days? Assuming i worked every working day during the year.
I understand a company that never gave bonus cant be forced to and a company that gave cant stop and must do so according to the Main agreement/goverment gazzet

Your leave bonus is determined by section 6 of Part II of the Collective Agreement for the Electrical Industry.
The leave bonus should not be confused with the annual leave entitlement which is determined by Section 16 of Part I of the Collective Agreement.

15days plus the 4×public holidays during the holiday.
The number of days used in the calculation is determined by your designation and the area you fall under.
Public holidays do not enter into the calculation.
          Participation is voluntary.
