[Question] "part-time" job but been at Co. for long time

I've been with the company for a while now. My "employer" mentioned a "contract" (he no longer works for the company).

Please advise. (Anyone whom I could PM?)

There have been significant changes to the LRA recently that impact this. There is a possibility the company is trying to formalise what is already a legal reality.

Just how "part time" have you been working for the company, and for how long?
    Participation is voluntary.

      Hi there,
      Thank you for responding.

This is my 4th year... The job was for a short period only (supposedly). There are other issues I would like to discus in private, hence my need to PM someone. Thank you again.

        Hi People,
Given that I still don't have a real "contract" (there are talks of one some day soon...) what are my options:
        (A) Can I just quit? (My leaving abruptly will leave a very nice (and bad) void indeed!)
        (B) Must I give notice to quit? (What time-frame 2 weeks, maybe less?)
        (C) I know a company that might employ me. Can I start straight way? I received a few offers so far.
