Swimming Pool Legislation

Hi Everyone, I hope this is posted in the correct section?

I am a pool owner and I remember some time ago JHB council were looking at new legislation wereby, any pool must have a fence of minimum 1.2m tall and at least 1m from the edge of the pool. It must have a self-closing and locking gate fitted with an exit alarm. The pool must be fitted with a cover when not in use and this must have an alarm.

Whatever happened with this nasty peice of legislation, was it ever brought into law? Does anyone have a copy of the gazette with this?
