    [Question] CIPC

Is anyone else having a nightmare with CIPC?

I cannot get around the hurdle of lodging a company registered address change because I get an "invalid email address" message. The call centre recommended a password reset which entailed getting another certified copy of my ID and once I had jumped through that hoop I continue to get the same invalid email address message. Calling the call centre again before their phones went down altogether, I was advised that this could not be done via online transacting and that I should email the CoR21.1 to cor21.1@cipc.co.za but no such email address exists.

Furthermore, I changed a director's residential address, saved it and saved the details of the remaining directors before lodging but the CoR39 that I received (along with the directors) continues to have the old residential address.

I have raised two tickets with CIPC but my experience to date doesn't leave me with a warm, fuzzy feeling.

    Any advice welcome.

@delatjie, I did, peculiarly CIPC would not recognise my personal email address with which I am registered at CIPC to change a company's address but when I used a reply email address with the company's domain name in it, the change was accepted. No confirmation email was ever received at that email address but the change was effected.
