Look up your company details on CIPRO

I just got a call from CIPC (/CIPRO - it's so damn confusing).

Apparently they've had an issue with their server, managed to lose a whole lot of data, and need to confirm my registered company name and registration number. I did a search and indeed, it seems like a whole lot of company information has gone missing.

What I don't know right now is whether this is mischief afoot or a CIPC calamity. So if you've got the time and you've got a company or more registered on CIPC, could you take a moment to look up your company and post back if you see anything missing / odd... or all seems as it should be.

No need to log in or anything complicated - just use the name search area in the left hand menu.

Mine is still intact - they probably only contact those where they know details have gone astray?

I haven't checked all of mine but my three main trading companies are still there with contact details. I wish SARS would lose all my details
