Good day
I purchase a house in Edgemead almost 3 months ago.
I have asked the Seller, the Estate Agent and the Attorney on numerous occasions for the Certificates of Compliance.
There are many excuses, but they are never forthcoming.
The Attorneys say they do not have electronic or paper copies as the Agent never provided it to them. However they did the transfer and registration.
The Agent says their offices closed and they cannot find the documents. I contacted her Principal who also makes promises, but never delivers.
The Seller simply ignores everyone, including myself.
I have even sent email with all above parties on the email explaining the predicament and asking for the certificates please.
They respond with vague empty promises, which are never realised.
And i receive absolutely no proactive feedback from any of the abovementioned parties.
I cannot even contact the contractors myself for copies of the certificates, because i don't know who the contractors were who did the certificates.
What should be my next step.
