Greetings, I'm Michael.

I've been on the hunt for a trustworthy solar company in South Africa to provide and set up a comprehensive solar system for both my home and office. During my search, I stumbled upon a company called "Solar Deity," and I must say, their pricing is remarkably competitive; they've provided me with the most cost-effective quote compared to other companies in my vicinity.

I'm curious if anyone here has previously engaged Solar Deity for a full-scale installation in their residential or business premises? My primary concerns revolve around the quality of their products and the level of support they offer post-installation in case I encounter any issues.

Any input or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Just looking at the pictures on the website, I would be doing a lot more research into the company and request documentation to support skills training, qualifications of the people designing installing and commissioning the installations.

Just be very very careful of the solar industry standard, it doesn't require training and certification, it seems to boast a "quantity" standard, where training and certification is not required as a gauge of competence, but rather the volume of installations. Doing something 10 000 000 times doesn't make it right. It seems that 50 makes you a master regardless of your actual training and certification.

Sunsynk is a good example, they dont offer any form of product specific training (except 50 kw and above), yet have a approval system which doesn't include any form of product training or certification. You just have to do more than 10 or 50 installations and you are a master.

You also have companies advertising with videos trashing the little guys, so F$%^ lame. The stupid ad is a bad reflection of the company and the way it deals with customers and support for products. If you are a small insignificant customer and not a big spender you not worth the time of day, but rather going to be made fun of, so sad

You just look at any of the installer manuals, have a limited of any of the products, nd regulations, then go to any of these so called vetted solar companies gallery and look at the pictures.

It is a sad state of affairs.

Also make sure they are electrical contractors as if not they illegal. Only electrical contractors can do the work and to be a contractors means you are also a IE or MIE. Even a SPT but they can do 3phase.

I am assuming a typo - SPT cannot do 3 phase or DC

Green card installers are also NOT suppose to do solar installation nor work on electrical installation . Someone should try public awareness.

Nobody cares, if the price is right, it good enough.

You just have to look at the pictures on the website of the company advertised here in this post to realize how bad it actually is out there. Would you call this company, I certainly wouldn't.

Pretty pics and 50...100...500 installs doesn''t make it compliant, STOP BEING SUCK A BUNCH OF SUCKERS.
