Limited load shedding expected for winter

This is good news, as per information shared on our local radio station, eskom has enough diesel to keep the lights on and thanks to ongoing planned maintenance and focus on upgraded the system to handle the winter load .

I suppose we shouldn't complain, look at poor Spain and other parts of Europe, headlines in every country, they were without power for a whole day , shame apparently there was chaos.

I wonder how many other countries with an abundance of coal, also import diesel to keep the lights on ?
