DOEL registration

Does anyone know of a way to verify a registered person and/or contractor with DOEL? I encountered 2 installations this week that were done by a drunk baboon on tik...one where an AC breaker was used as a PV isolator. I would love to give my community a way to verify if an electrician is indeed registered. Calls to DOEL proved fruitless. One lady even referred me to the UIF department. It's time we cleaned up the industry!
