[Question] Earth leakage

My CBI earth leakage 63A, 6KA single phase keeps on tripping during thunderstorm and lightning other than that is working fine. I did change it install the new one is doing the same. What might be the problem or is too sensitive.

I would assume there is rain with the storm
Could be water getting in somewhere after the earth leakage
Have also had overhead lines touching in the wind and tripping an earth leakage unit for some or other reason

It could quite possible be an incoming supply problem then - Difficult to say and also going to be difficult to find.

If your neighbors are having similar problems then incoming supply if not then something is not right on your incomer or after the earth leakage
