how do i stop getting spam from this email address

    legal@ssda.co.za

what i would love to know is how they got my email address to start with...they also seem to have my celphone numbe rand harrass me day and night with sms junk.

to put you in the picture it is for an outstanding amount of R200 for virgin mobile...my contract ended in july 2 years ago...but because i didnt give them 1 months notice they have now blacklisted me for R200 by the way the account was running a debit order...my question to them was why they didnt run the last debit order if it was in my contract...because it wasnt my contract ended in july...they just tried to nail me for the extra money and now have these vultures after me.

as i mentioned to them in a telephone conversasion i have no intention in this lifetime of paying it...they have racked up a bill of over R500 which they are threatening me with which i advised them they can take me to court over because as we have discussed oon this forum they cannot claim more than double the amount of the intitial debt.

i also indicated to then that my losses run into thousands...for the 3 months which i had no signal because they messed up my port from mtn to virgin with no compensasion...all these issues where run on wendy knowlers consumer watch program a couple of years ago...they apologised but no compensaion whats so ever and on top of it all they billed me for the 3 months i had no signal

they didnt run my debit order for almost a year...when i tried to sort it out with their accounts department i was told it would be sorted out...yet it took them almost a year to finalise it...on january the first they took the whole amount outstanding in one debit order and which caused masive problems with my acocunt..i was told they would let me know when they had sorted it out the glitch in their account system...so i could transfer the money from account where i had kept the money to pay the amount outstanding...instead i was away and by the time i got back to work and checked my account it had already done the damage.

the thing that really blows my mind is that they can blacklist me even though there is a dispute ovet these issue...where is the consumer protection from these crimminals.

    oooooohoooh scary email

If you're using Outlook you can create a rule that sends that bad boy straight to the deleted items everytime it comes through. Alternatively, call your ISP and have them blacklist that specific address.

Well, you've already got the email address part sorted

There's a reason why this forum doesn't publish members' email addresses and has things like a PM system - to stop people (and bots) from harvesting email addresses from the site. However, if people are silly enough to publish an email address in a post... not much I can do to stop those ones from being harvested, I'm afraid.

now my next step is i need to blacklist virgin mobile for outstanding payment i beilieve my case would stand considering it manage to get on the wendy knowler show for what they did to my bussiness...anyone got an idea how i go about doing this...

send them an invoice for the 3 months lost revenue for my bussiness...see if they pay...i am sure they wont so then i need to contact one of these companies like jm or shaik and shake this up?

i was told by someone that all you need is a persons id number and you can make their credit rating a living hell...without even going to court.

An organization has a company registration number, this should suffice

I had a client I wanted to hand over a while ago, for not paying. I followed the correct channels, and had a word with a debt collector consultant for the company I used to get my money out of this client.

The consultant told me a story....

A man was listed on ITC for bad debt. Due to this the man couldn't get finance for a car he wanted to purchase. So you know what he did..? He sued the person who blacklisted him. It gets better, he won the case. His argument was because he was blacklisted he couldn't get a car, so he couldn't get a job, so he couldn't eat.

He sued the guy for damages or some crap like that. My point is, the days of just blacklisting someone are over. Even if that person owes you money, they can sue you back.

So be careful. Rather take your time, and plan your "attack", so to speak. Make sure everything is legal before going ahead. Last thing you want is more trouble.

ask these people who have blacklisted me...over R200 which apparently i owe virgin mobile...i have never had a registered letter...never been to court...in fact i requested we settle this in court because of all the problems i had with the contract (which is the reason i never renewed it...i just moved back to mtn)...i complain about a lot of things but dealling with virgin mobile has to top the list of worse companies to date....

this blacklisting thing has just become tooo easy for companies.
