    DPSA Tender scam alert

If you get this email (or something similar down the line, I guess) beware, it's a scam.
    -----
    Good day,

From the office of the director Department Of Public Service and Administration (Dpsa), you are hereby invited to bid for requirements of the Department Of Public Service and Administration.

View attached document for more information.

    We await your quick response.

    Regards,

    Fikile Maseko
    Senior Secretary (DPSA)

Attached will be a PDF list of tenders with approaching closing dates. Cross checking the ones I got, they actually are real tenders from the DPSA website, just with altered closing dates. In the sample I examined, the tenders involved had all already closed.

The start of the scam is this bit -

According to the Department of Public Service and Administration website, they do not charge for tender documents.
    Participation is voluntary.

So what is the scam? Do they want to charge people for tender documents on tenders that have already closed?

Sorry, only opened the picture now.

Terrible what lengths some people will go through to make a quick buck.
