Sales people can turn their failure into success

    Hello there

I agree with what you said but I also believe that the desire to succeed needs to come from within. How badly do you want to succeed. How desperate are you to make a go of something and succeed at it.

It starts with a plan. One step at a time to reach a sale.

There is an excellent article I read in the forum about a numbers game

That is what it is all about. What you put in you will get out.

Thank you for you post. Makes a person think!

      To focus on failure...

      Hi Great Post

To focus on failure ..will bring you failure..
To focus on sucess will give you sucess..
Just like a car driver ,when he focus on the pavement ..he will go to the pavement...
When he focus on his destination..he will get his goal !

      Thanks

        Ten things you must remember:

Always know your product sales and service.

        Never ever assume anything.

        Approach customers with confidence.

        Show them your knowledge

Always point out the facts “good or bad”

Never ever assume that something is the best only that it will work well.

Always listen to the customer and valuate her/his needs.

Always point out the fine print of any product and warrantee guarantee
        procedures.

Never ever push a customer into a sale.

Customer courtesy goes a very long way.
peace is a state of mind

i think the basic problem is lack of understanding(or homework) of the business, if the saleman have the basic knowlege of what he was doing, he won't fail anymore.
the first thing to attract your customer is not your selling goods or service but your products, so you as saleman first should know your products totally withour misknowing.

You must understand the need of the customer, he will not buy if there is no need.
Not your need his need, his values , tapping into values of others not your own , will help your success

                @robinsonwang

These are all really good; one thing that you got close to but never said was that most salespeople think that they are employed to perform the sale. In actual fact it is never the salesperson that does the sell, and it is the customer that sells themselves.

You say it everywhere; point out the facts, show them the fine print, common courtesy etc. Good points that I wish were taught to every salesperson.

                Pardon the ramble,
                -Jan
