[Question] Is a local branch of a Multinational Customer seen as a SME?

We're in process to classify our account base into horisontals & verticals. We have many international companies who have branches in SA, which needs to be grouped accordingly. Does their local branch constitute a SME if less than 200 employees in SA? I'd appreciate your views as well as pointing me to relevent literature in this regard.

    Like, for example, Google?

Surely this depends on what you might be selling to them?

I am interested in this topic and would like to find out some more information as my friend need information on this topic. Do you have any other articles about this? I thought it was going to be some boring old post, but it really compensated for my time. I will post a link to this page on my blog. I am sure my visitors will locate that extremely useful
