I have a mate who ran a Groupon deal - he was pretty happy with the results.
He did say you need to be smart about it though and pick what you're offering carefully.Participation is voluntary.

When these first started there was a tipping point say only if 5 people bought then the deal is on. Now with this deal there is no tipping point. Anyway buy the deal to see how this works.
