I agree, however because they are Chinese, they are perceived as PDI's. When you do your points, they do not ask how long you have been in RSA.

My one shop has been struggling for a while (since opening 9 mnths ago). Eventually made one staff redundant 3 weeks ago (felt terrible), the other staff member took a bit of holiday which I said was great (gave the redundant staffer some work). Then the one that stayed gave me less than a days notice. Was in the shop yesterday and have now picked up quite a bit of staff theft. Just makes me sick. Will now just open that shop 3 times a week by myself - still have 15 months on the lease. This is a town with massive unemployment.

On the bright side the other 2 shops are doing well - big bonuses to all the other staff for march (the one shop will make more money in bonuses than they earned in salary for the month)

Whenever there is a cash business, always look for the hand that does not belong to you in the cookie jar.

The issue here is not that they are Chinese, or any other race. The issue is that we have massive unemployment leading to social unrest and other problems. In the face of this, the government sees fit to IMPORT alien labour.

Where is our patriotism? Where is our compassion for the unemployed?

While the fat cats are lining their pockets, we have to pay higher taxes so that the poor can get social grants and services.

The ruling party hence the government is the engineer of this situation, they only need the unemployed and poor when votes are needed, that is the crux of the matter, thereafter they are disposable. The ANC is going to fall in the same way are the white government, by the unemployed, poor and the youth in the same way, history is going to repeat itself sooner than later, what we are seeing in the Western Cape with the killing and necklacing of so called criminals is brewing just under the surface through out the country. The ANC brought down the white government through civil disobedience, the same is going to happen to them, it has started already with the burning of schools and goverment buildings the same as in 1973
