It is rumored that Eskom has orded 5 million energy saver globes from Osram. The reason for this is that they are to be handed out in the Western Cape free of charge because it is cheaper than upgrading the failing infrastructer. I wonder if Telkom are going to supply carrier pigeons next. This is a really sad state of affairs if true.
