[Question] How do I certify an electronic invoice?

SARS wants a certified copy of my telephone account to confirm my contact details (part of an exporter license registration), but I receive my telephone invoices electronically. So how do I go about certifying the invoice, without having an original copy in hand?

I am picturing trying to explain this to the police officer who sits and certifies documents all day. I am pretty sure that after 10 minutes of explanation and showing them the original on my laptop they will just stamp the copy.

The other option I thought of was to walk into a Neotel office and ask for a original printout of the invoice.

I am interested to know if anyone has faced this "problem" before (SARS wasn't particularly sympathetic).

I have printed things off my computer before, sometimes made a copy and taken it to the police station where they certify it. Whether you print it at home or at their offices there is no difference. If you take it in with another "copy" they will certify the "copy".

I agree with Kevinb just print one out in colour and one in black and white and certify the black and white one - also done it in the past they don't know the difference.
