    Vending Machines

Who of you has operated a vending machine business?
What are the profits/revenue with this type of business (i understand it depends on location), I cant seem to find any info on this online relevant to SA.

    Thanks

      With Good Placement:
      Chips & Snacks = R1 000 per week. or R4 000 rand per month
Variable cost usually about 35% of sales.
      Official Price: R15 000
Second hand, with negotiations much less.

Notice however, that the machine requires a 250Volt power supply. I am discussing with an electrician friend how we can use a car battery and convert to 12V to power the machine electricity free.

Remember the value of vending machines is to capture another market, not your own. You place a vending machine far away from yourself where you can't go, and make the prices good so you can take away another person's clientele.
If you intend to sell using a vending machine in your own shop rather order the employees to do it.
