Different businesses trading under one name?

Can someone please help or advise me on this?

If a company (importer/distributor) has a trading of there business, but import certain branded products exclusively: how does one registar the name.

An example is, lets say business is called Importer cc and they distribute a few brands exclusivly ie: Laptop brand X; phone brand Z etc.

But when you market/promote that particular product but use the product brand name as example Phone brand Z(SA).

How does one go about setting up registration like that

As far as I know Importer cc can have any number of departments. so he can also trade as Importer cc Laptop brand X and/or Importer cc phone brand Z or maybe Importer cc Laptop brand X phone brand Z and any combination, you can add or subtract as you wish.

the nucleus of the cc remains the same (Importer cc) and you run one set of books combined at the VAT periods, the prov tax periods and year end.
Otherwise you can seperate the sales figures for the different departments for internal information.
