Hello, guys, did you ever hear of "black restaurant". Firstly, let me explain what is "black restaurant". You maybe think it is a weird phrase,actually, it is not. There is a local restaurant in downtown area at Shanghai. No lights are installed there in the dinning hall. People who are gonna dine there have to be finish dinners in pitch darkness in the dinning room. For example, if you are to dine there, a group of customers will have to file into the dinning hall by holding each other's arms, while the first one in the queue will hold a receptionist's arms. The receptionist who is familiar with the dinning hall will lead them to their dinning table. And you and you friends just sit down and enjoy your dinner. The whole story is just like what i have said. Interestingly, some lovers who are ready to break up reunited together by dinning there. Many customers' testimonials witnessed the popularity of the restaurant.

lol, dont you think it is pretty innovative and interesting! Many people would like to try interestingly new things. Why not have a try. The black restaurant just intends to offer the public a "mysterious(let's say)" place to dine. Many young people frequent there. It has been popular with young people. I went there and dined there before. I think it was an interesting place. I really appreciate the owner's innovation spirit.

I don't think I would enjoy eating in the dark. I am a very picky eater and I need to know and see what exactly I am putting in my mouth. I also think that sight forms a very important part of enjoying food. Seeing the colors and texture of food make it all the more appealing for me. So I commend those that are adventurous enough to do it, but I couldn't.

With youngsters frequenting this dark restaurant I am sure you will be hearing some funny noises coming from some back corner and that would not be from eating !

WMS - you wouldn't get me in there even if you paid......I was always taught never to trust water you cant see into. Never put your finger in a hole you can't see what is inside.......and to be honest....that whole concept is just plain scary. I bet there are no stray cats or dogs wandering around outside within a block...No thanks.
