Just for interest sake there are 2 approaches to social network marketing. One is that you have an individual or department able to promote your company on social network and a second, more recent approach is that all staff are given policies and guidelines regarding promoting the business /brand on social networks...each one being an potential ambassador. So given the second options approach, what we look for or change regarding facebook?

Hi
I understand the dilemma you are facing. Its difficult because time is money and you are paying them to work when they are in the office, but you also don't want to create a negative and uncomfortable environment because that too will hamper productivity. If you block access to social media websites, they will probably still access them through their phones. So I would suggest that you sit down with them and voice your concerns. Explain to them that you see them as responsible adults, you treat them as responsible adults and you're expecting them to behave as responsible adults and ultimately work to give you their salaries worth.Comment
