    CIPRO irony

CIPRO happily causes all kinds of grief deregistering companies that are still active because they haven't completed their annual returns.

I wound up a cc in 1997 with final liquidation being given in 1998 (which you'd think would involve deregistration at some point) and do you think CIPRO has deregistered it yet?

Its so frustrating. They have a reasonably simple job - keep records. Why do they get it wrong so often and make life difficult for others. Aaarggghh!

That's quite funny actually. My company has been resgitered since 2006 and we had been submitting (or so we thought) and paying for our annual returns. A supplier contacted me after doing search on us and advised me we were under deregistration
After much investigation, a new accounting firm and R12000 later we managed to sort out the CIPRO deregistration and subsequent other findings as well.

I find CIPRO much like SARS - play the game their way and they're pretty good. Don't and it bites you in the @ss.
