[Question] Pastel Partner

Hello,

Is there someone familiar with Patel Partner, we have an issue with the average cost due to an error made with one of the items on the bill of materials. In other words a complete mess, the average cost has skyrocketed.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Would it not be easiest to simply reverse the whole transaction and then redo it correctly?

Unmanufacture the made items, correct the BOM and then manufacture them again correctly.

Does that help or is your problem more complex?

My main problem is I have a number of sales invoices against these items, therefore, thinking I would have to issue credit notes on all of them and then reissue the sales invoives? Nightmare!!

Oh dear. Sounds more complicated then. Perhaps it now comes down to how important the cost report is to you. Might be easier to just ignore it for June 2010.

Alternatively spend some money on a Pastel expert. Maybe they can meddle with the database.

Was your Average cost issue ever resolved? It can be corrected via the Pastel database.
