    I have an idea

I have an idea that could turn into a business that would need people from all over the country to make it work?
I envisage, with DaveA's permission, starting a private discussion area after a non disclosure agreement has been signed by potential members.

To start with I would need input from a 'legal eagle' for the non disclosure agreement, thereafter if anybody is interested I will put my idea forward for discussion, whereafter the members will decide on a way forward.

If the idea works, a few/lot of us could make money, if not we would have had a few interesting discussions.

Interesting. Drafting a disclosure agreement is fairly simple.
Logistically I presume Dave would need to make a forum board with limited access, seperate login or only made available via clearance which would be post signing the disclosure. Also a pretty neat way of keeping all correspondence, ideas in one file.

Higley aside, a non disclosure is like a prenup, I accept there are risks, I want to minimise them, also get anyone interested singing off the same hymn sheet.

            I'll whet your appetite.
It is something millions of people buy everyday and costs between 30 and 50 rand a time.

At this stage nothing, we need to discuss the idea first,

First step get DaveA on board with permission to do this?
Then maybe if Stern.law is prepared to draw up a document for interested parties to sign and resubmit by fax and post?
Then we go private and discuss this idea, get input from signed members, then do the costing and decide a way forward,

I forsee a Pty(ltd) to start with? share holding per input.
when we need cash we sell shares?
Will all have to be decided in discussions.

Wynn, there's no problem setting up a private forum here that is only accessible by members you nominate.

I suggest get your NDA's signed and faxed to you. From there all I need from you is a list of usernames that qualify and the name of the forum.

In terms of the ECA Act, I'm pretty sure if you create an electronic page with a button that says input your name and date, it will work as a legal electronic NDA and you press the button to sign ... will make it easier than signing forms ... legal guys?

Wynn, I just checked out the interest group functionality. You could form a new group and be able to administer it without relying on me to update membership etc. from the start if you set the right options when you create the group.

You'd make it a private group, invite only perhaps, and viewable only to members of the group.

I am working out the NDA with Stern.law

Will revert as soon as we have something concrete.
