[Question] SEO. When to start marketing a new web?

    K. Same as Softdux I'm not sure exactly where to put this.

Terry asked me a few minutes ago, when is the best time to start marketing a brand new website. Before or after it has been indexed by the Search Engines?
I don't know. I don't even know when the Search Engines do get to index a site after we submit it.

Lol, now it's over to you good people!

From the time you've got content worth reading...

When it's indexed by search engines has nothing to do with it, except that inbound leads will also lead to crawls and better rankings in SERPs.

Thanks Dave. we were hashing it out some more, and yes, it does seem that marketing (read link dropping) from the word go does work. Once again Vottle comes up, two hrs and 15 minutes after placing the ad.

I don't know it this is the correct way, but I start as soon as I have some content on the website, even though it's only one page. search engines take time to crawl websites, and new content always make them come back to check for more. So everytime you add something it helps

          Website without a digital profile

I have found that a website without a digital profile is like erecting a billboard in the woods, your clients would have to stumble across your site before they would contact you.
