So after a long year of discovery I have learnt that I am great at creating software but not so great at running a business.

You might consider auctioning it on Bid or Buy.

You'll probably want to give stats like current subscriptions and current Analytics traffic data.

Shenku, I think the tricky business model part of your concept came up here before. However, if you added on some more accounts record-keeping functionality, it might become more viable. Instead of just being an online invoicing package, it could be an online small business accounting package.

This is a really good concept, really good! Why sell it? This can make you good money in the future compared to the price that you will probably get for it now.

But I would like to add the following comments.

A real problem I see here is the lack of information on what this product is actually capable of doing for business owners. Based on the accounts.aspx page this software is more than just invoicing software.

I would recommend an unlimited free version that can send out a lot more invoices.

An invoicing system is key to any business, and this is a long-term business that can pull off big income for you if you can hook enough business owners. This can also make a killing for you internationally as the keyword "invoicing software" is a big one. use the Google SK tool to see what I am talking about

If you look at the concept of ExpressInvoice for example, it is a simple one and it is working. If you want more functionality other than managing invoices you need to upgrade at a monthly fee. The rest is completely free, getting business owners to get hooked and then as their needs expand so does your recurring income.
