    Where to place our services

Our company is based in Gauteng, we specialise in Process Definition and Improvement, Project Management training, we establish Project Offices and we have specialised contractors, like Project Managers, Process Writers, Business Analysts, software developers and testers, data captures, etc.

If we can assist with providing contractors, or if there is a specific requirement you need fulfilled please us know.
    Any help would be appreciated

    What like a labour broker?
The cost of living hasn't affected its popularity.

Hi Marg, that term is such a negative term at the moment so I'd like to call it 'resourcing, consultancy and training company' :-)

What happened to recruitment and placement agencies for filling term contract positions?
Or is it just that labour brokers are in the spotlight at the moment?

While watching the latest Cosatu BS on the tv this morning regarding labour brokers, I was wondering how long it would take to redefine/rename the practice of contract and temporary staff placement.

So here we have Resource Management, there is of course the original recruitment agencies and then business consultants for the top end.
Cosatu has suggested the name Slave Traders, which may be over the top....but hey, if thats what they want we can call it that and just get on with it.

This labour broker thing is just a ploy to get a deal for all those workers on the 2010 projects. Typical Communist plot to stuff everything up and sink the Titanic just because their row boat is being tossed about. What do these 2000 communist delegates do for a living that they can waste all these days talking crap and threatening the decent working folk placed by labour brokers? Oh yeah ....union dues......thats right stolen..er paid for by these folk they are about to put out of work.

Dave one thing that I have noticed about placement agencies is that they can be very expensive and the candidates don't have a track record with that agency.

I too would rather work with a company that specialises in a particular field than work with a company who deals with all sorts of fields, it comes down to specialisation I guess.

Yep - they seem pretty fired up.

Here's the thing to my mind - if the LRA was a little more employment friendly for companies, labour brokers wouldn't be quite as in demand as they are right now. Term contracts and a degree of seperation is a direct response to the liabilities that have been attached to giving "permanent employment."

And perhaps it's not just the LRA with its onerous provisions; overly aggressive, demanding unionism is surely also adding fuel to the fire. Who needs all that aggrevation.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why there has been incredible employment growth in the Asian tigers compared to regions with rigid employment conditions such as here.

Have you ever tried to get a job “without” a labour broker? It is damn near impossible. This ONLY my opinion but the term “slave trader” is fitting because that is exactly what they are doing. A lot of good jobs are now basically kept as ransom because of this system and fanatical stability for the labourer is none existent. The only beneficiary here is the “labour broker” himself. I just wonder how this can be remotely positive for our country‘s growth.

Fist you had the UNION and they are about as useful as rock in the ocean.
Then we had BEE that made subcontracting a living breathing nightmare.
Now it is the era of the “labour broker” that keeps jobs for ransom.
peace is a state of mind
