And for my 300th entry I would like to invite anyone who lives in the Edenvale, Greenstone, Bedfordview and surrounding area to join me for "End of year Coffee with the President."(That's me)


The Bedfordview and Edenvale NEWS in association with the Ekurhuleni North Chamber of Business and Commerce (ENCCI), would like to invite you to the last Coffee with the President of 2008.

The initiative has gathered great interest from residents and business owners over the past year. We would like for you to join us in saying good bye to a wonderful 2008 and to toast to an even better 2009 ahead.

Good to see you in festive spirits already, Vincent. It's starting to get to that time where thoughts of the festive season are starting to be appropriate.

I was less than excited to see Christmas bunting going up in some shopping centres near the end of October already. It's cynical commercialism at its worst that early, I reckon.
