Good small business idea for R100K

    Good morning Team!

    1. Any small business idea that I can invest a R100K? 2. Also looking at some ideas which I can approach our development bank with?, Government is encouraging your Namibians to come up with good projects to sponsor.

    Regards,

How about setting up an installation business installing our PV based solar water heating systems.
The advantage of this system, is that you use the existing electrical geyser.
You can source the PV panels locally and purchase the controller from us, and do the installations.

Installations involve mounting the PV panels on the roof, and then a little amount of electrical work, in which you connect the PV panels to the base plate, connect mains to the base plate for back up, and a set of wires from the base plate to the geyser.

See my brochure, print on both sides with the short side and select "Flip on short edge" to create a little A5 brochure.

Wouldn't the installer need some form of certification ?

Only Electrical connection requires qualified electrician.

If purely solar, then there is no qualified person required. Total PV is between 900W and 1265W, depending on the number of panels connected.

You can start an online store and have some budget left to buy stock. You can ship from home until you can afford an office space.

            I like this idea.

I have been trying to figue a way to bypass the geyser when the inverter systems goes into backup mode...this could be a better solution...we need to come up with a package deal which integrates the geyser and essential services in one package.

              Hallo justloadit,

Sounds interesting! Will have to analyse current "solar systems market" for more insight. Do you have a client base here in Namibian? May I PM you?

I have no one representing our product in Namibia.
You can send me a PM with your email, and I will send you more information.
