[Question] Rules of importing and reselling

    Hi guys

I'm new to this forum. Thanks for having me, my name is Jase.

I have been thinking about doing some importing on a very small scale and was hoping someone could assist me with advice. I have brought in goods from overseas for myself from time to time but was wondering if I can sell things that I bring in without registering as an importer? As I'm just looking into it, and testing the waters I dont want to complicate things right now, is there a minimum that I can import and sell before registering as an importer?

    Thanks
    Jase

if you want to test the waters then try buying from Alibaba(.)com where you will get a wholesale price. Look for a product which is in demand in your area and see how it goes.

Post might be a bit late, I did the same. Used Alibaba as well as AliExpress. Important dashcams, motory accessories, and a few random things.

I ordered items and sometimes you can speak directly to the supplier and ask to send as gift, this reduces your import duties. After Wish came on the radar, things became difficult. In my area, things got stuck at customs, post offices charged fees doesn't matter what you imported. Just never got my items and asking for a refund became a hassle so I stopped. Maybe for you it's different.

        Just a hint:
Have a look at what people around you want and need, dont get caught by importing things you would want. All peopy are different.
