I am about to enter into a business transaction with a company registered in South Africa selling machinery. As part of my company's compliance process, I need to do a company check.
Does South Africa have a government company registration system where I can do a company check on the status of the company and whether there are any law suits or claims concerning the said company?
Would be grateful for any information. I tried to register and check through CIPC but did not manage to find the correct link.
