    [Question] Leave pay

    Good day everyone,

I have been permanently employed for two years straight and I have never taken any leave days.

I have recently found a new Job and will start at the beginning of September. I don't think my current boss is well informed when it comes to leave issues.

Shouldn't he pay me for all my unused leave days for the current year, even last year I didn't get paid for unused leave days. And how would I go about calculating the correct amount?

    Thanks!

Normal leave is 15 days per year (1.25 days per month). They should pay you out for your leave. It would depend on your contract if they will pay you for the previous year as well.

Unless you applied for it and were denied it, as Anthony says, you have actually forfeited it. The last year is another matter entirely.
