Johannesburg - The Congress of South African Trade Union's (Cosatu) Gauteng provincial branch would be picketing on Thursday outside global resources group BHP Billiton's (BIL) offices in Johannesburg, the union said in a statement.
The picket was in solidarity with the Australian workers' stand against "draconian labour laws" passed by the Australian government and would run from 12:00 to 14:00 outside BHP Billiton's offices, with a memorandum to be handed over at 13:30, Cosatu added.
