west texas intermediate and brent
one is assumed to be onboarded in texas the other in europe the difference is probably mufti-faceted
you have to consider logistics here and tax regimes in a sense you cannot teleport oil from texas to europe and vice versa
you also have no idea which country and what sort of excise taxes or otherwise you have embedded in onboarding or offboarding said crude
about the api and viscousity differences it is really if you go into physical market for delivery i think but i do not know about that.
what i do know is that LLS (louisiana offboarding crude) is closer in price to brent.
