Company name change - what now

I've just received confirmation from CIPC that my pty ltd's comany name has been changed, who do I need to notify about this, or is the name superficial? I've already registered with SARS and have a bank account.

How can they change a pty ltd name ? Or was it a cc/sole changed to a pty ltd ?

It's a PTY and yes you can change the name itself, I think this was newly introduced.

It was originally a shelf company which had a retarded name I applied for a new name with CIPRO and it now shows on the company title deed.

Anyway, so I was wondering if anyone has been through this process, do I need to phone the bank? SARS etc?
