I have some new properties and the developer said all the telkom infrastructure is in place, all we need to do is call a telkom technician to come out and install. My tenant reported that the technician could not find the telkom line. The developer said I should look behind the panels in the kitchen and in the main room of the apartment. This is what I found:
99% sure that is a Telkom line. They normally run a 4core comms cable for ring & tip. Is that cable comming from behind the wallbox or through one of the pipes?

Having cables is so outdated
I believe Telkom has wireless now, they have a wireless hub device just outside your house. Just one draw back, in these systems there is no ADSL, so you have to hook up to Heita data for internet connection.

That is the other 1%
Telkom tech is suppose to connect his telephone device to 2cores to see which have been used. You can check at the intercom if the colour coding is the same to make sure before calling Telkom

They are the same, i was just wondering since it looked like it was coming from the wall in the photo. Just amaze me the carelessness of some contractors...

The contractor may have used the same type cable for intercom and Telcomms so I wouldn't rely on colour coding for identification. Get the guy back who installed it, he should have at least left a label on it saying its destination, even a piece of masking tape would have sufficed. If you can't get him back you'll have to get someone in and tone them out to find where they go which is a pain in the ass job and time consuming as well.
I'm not sure why it's appearing from the side of the box, that's also ringing alarm bells. Just for fun give it a firm tug in case they've just shoved a 3 inch piece down the side of the box to make it look like it was installed. Yeah, I know I'm cynical beyond my years which are too many in the game already

Ah. the tricks of the trade. I would never had thought that some contractors are that cheeky...

Lol, you'd better believe it. It wouldn't be the first time I've seen stunts like that although I'm not suggesting it's likely, most contractors have got a bit more integrity thankfully.
Is that not a draw wire coming out from the left?
If that comms cable is between the two positions and is in the same conduit with the 220volt, it must be removed.
