    Stock Trading for Dummies

    Hi all

I am interested in learning how to invest on the JSE. It is something that has interested me for a long time, but I have never taken the time to do anything about it.

Where do I start as a complete beginner? Are there websites I can look at? Should I be looking for a broker?

I’d appreciate any advice you have to offer.

    Cheers

I would start with looking at an index tracking unit trust or ETF. Unless you know which company is going to be the next big thing.
Only stress when you can change the outcome!

I've used FNB share trading account which is easy and a nice way to get some exposure. I also have a computershare account which works as well, you just phone them and buy shares.
