I think that the video is bullcrap. Of course will do things you don't like, of course others will define you, of course you will suffer defeat and of course you will surrender sometimes. Life isn't a single battle to be won at all costs, life is far more complex. Sometimes you lose the battle on purpose if there is a greater strategy, sometimes you concede defeat even though you know you are right and you know that if you were to fight you would win.

Life is a long series of intertwined poker games with friends and enemies, the trick is to play for the long term upside even if it means having to deal with the short term downside! (If you are really good then you are able to turn the short term downside into an upside as well)

You need to develop the right attitude to be a winner in your line of business, remember anyone can cope an attitude you need to belief you the best. Belief will shape your world.
