Does anyone use voip for business purposes to do both local and international call's?Maybe something like mweb's voip service?

We just found that having the computer and telephone on the voip line did not work. The calls faded every now and again. Too many hassles. If the computer server was down, then sometimes the telephone lines did not work etc etc etc. But the worst was the fading of the calls. Since we separated the two we do not have any more hassles. If a line goes down we phone Telkom and their service has also improved dramatically this year.

I do not know. This was last year. The line speed was the normal business Telkom line speed - 4 megs if I am correct

I also tried voip, but for phones only. After a frustrating four months of fading and lost calls I too am back to Telkom and a cellphone router. Normal Telkom DSL line, I think.

Yeah it is just not worth the hassle. Since we separated the two we have not had a moments downtime. Not sure why we did not kill it off years ago.

voip on a 4meg adsl line will fade, especially if you share it with other internet traffic in the company. im hoping fibre/lte will be a better experience?

now where do I get affordable voip phones. I need 26 handsets.
