Hi everyone,
I'm forming a new technology business, trading in intellectual property. This will require a number of standard legal forms & paperwork. I've approached two 'name-brand' firms of attorneys, for an estimate of what it would cost to draw up/provide the necessary legal frame & paperwork that may be required.
The answers were either a blank stare, or a letter which made little sense - certainly did not provide a quote, or estimate of the paperwork required. It actually seems like they do not have a clue, or are embarrased to quote, based on a ridiculous price?
I wonder if our esteemed colleagues on The Forum could assist, as follows:
1. Advice on what paperwork/forms/boiler-plate documents may be required:
1.1 Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA);
1.2 Agent Agreement;
1.3 Technology License Agreement - purchase / sell / trade (on behalf of another);
1.4 etc...
2. Links to useful documents existing in the public domain.
