    SA joins anti-bribery convention.

South Africa has become the first African country to join the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development's (OECD) anti-bribery convention, the Department of Public Service and Administration said on Tuesday.

South Africa signed the convention in France on Tuesday, then took up a seat on the OECD working group on bribery of foreign officials in international business transactions, said department spokesperson Lewis Rabkin.

"South Africa is now party to and an active member of all the regional and international anti-corruption instruments," he said.

These include the Southern African Development Community's protocol on corruption, the African Union convention on the prevention and combating of corruption and the United Nations convention against corruption.

Apart from the ticket-fraud tickets, maybe they also got the bribed-insurance for flight insurance...
