    Valves info

    Hello all,

    Does anyone have any experience with globe valves? I am despirately looking to find a local manufacturer for valves. It seems no one in S.A does globe valves. We are thinking of sending an employee on a training course on valves. Any advice would be appreciated.

      Are you talking about the small domestic sized valves or are you working with large industrial valves? We do recondition valves from time to time, they're very simple devices and maintenance is usually just a matter or replacing the shaft seal packing and the main seal, occasionally we re-cut the ring and seat if it's damaged but this type of failure is pretty rare.

              What exactly are you looking for? You have not replied to the questions or offer/advice. One of my clients manufacture high quality, durable plastic ball valves, but is that what you are looking for?
