    Legal insurance cover

Am contemplating purchasing some insurance cover for matters legal. Has any body used this ? and their experiences? I have come across lipco, legal-wise, clientele, & there is also something underwritten by FNB.

    Any recommendations?

I have never even considered those, but out of interest what do you do for a living? Depending on your job you might be able to get PI insurance (professional indemnity).

I am no professional. Do a bit of car dealing. I am of the opinion that just as u have medical aid (very expensive ), you could do with some "legal aid" (cost about R150 per month)

I think you will find the bulk of these are for individuals - personal needs, more than business-related.

I was actually looking for personal needs--not business

It's easy to confuse the matter, placing this in the "general business" forum =P
I've always wondered about those legal wise ads, and what sort of limitations applied.

I've been on the cheapest option of legalwise for a couple of years. No complaints so far, but except for a few legal questions they answered over the phone, I haven't really had to use them either.

There are a LOT of exclusion criteria though, so be sure exactly what you are covered for and if you are satisfied with it. Typical exclusion criteria are business or professional issues, as well as immigration issues.
