    [Question] sharky

I have a request to make some sharky "looking" stuff out of wood, my question is do you have to get permission and pay a fee.

If i make it look similar but change a few things, at what point does it become a copy right issue?

Ian I contacted blue bulls to make some blue blue branded goods. They sent me to the agents who wanted a business plan and lots of other info. For something that was a shot in the dark it wasn't worth it.So good luck, I wouldn't risk it unless you can prove "fair use".

I wonder if the "old" sharky still falls under copyright? Much preferred the old sleeker version to the present geriatric version.

The hawkers selling wooden Sharkies don't seem to have a problem. If it is a once off for personal use it may OK, but as soon as it becomes a commercial venture the NRU will want their royalties and licencing fees.
