I have done yes, but I specialise more in Electric fencing, CCTV and complex automation. I do not have much of a call for alarms with the videofied system.

I installed it last week and I must say it seems far better than any normal blind alarm system. The armed response company can no really service me. They phoned me yesterday to confirm the alarm and that it was just a large bird that sat on the outdoor passive. No need for a response unit. Love it, not just the usual old stuff.

I tried CCTV remote monitoring and the costs was very high. The equipment alone was over R100K and the monthly charges was more than R10K. Videofied only cost me R19K and the monthly charge for all data, monitoring and reaction I only pay R600. The best is that the CCTV was only to verify a positive break-in. Videofied does just that and you can see the cost difference.

I have to mentioned this, they broke into my neighbours place and cut the power. the CCTV was only working for 10 minutes and then it shut down. Videofied last for 4 years on its own battery life.

I think if the cost of installing the monitoring system is high than it surly give you better performance.And the video monitoring and monitoring station services cost is not to much if you compare it with the benefits that they are providing you.
